What We Collect

Nothing that identifies you. This site does not ask you to create an account, does not run a contact form, and does not collect names, email addresses or payment details.

There is no analytics service and no advertising network on the site at the time of writing. If either is added later, this policy will be updated to name the provider and describe what it collects before it goes live.

What Your Browser Stores

The site remembers one thing: your light or dark theme preference. It is saved in your browser's local storage so the page does not flash the wrong theme on your next visit.

That value stays on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and clearing your browser's site data removes it. No tracking cookies are set.

Server Logs

Like any website, requests to this site pass through a hosting provider that may keep standard server logs — typically IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer and user-agent string. These are generated by the infrastructure rather than by anything we have built.

We do not use these logs to build profiles of visitors, and we do not combine them with any other data. Retention is governed by the hosting provider's own policy.

Fonts and Assets

Typefaces used on the site are self-hosted and served from the same domain as the pages themselves. Loading a page does not send a request to Google Fonts or any other third-party font service.

The same applies to styles and scripts: the site is served as static pages with no third-party embeds on the guide content.

Images, including the launch trailer cover on the home page, are stored and served from this domain. Viewing a page does not cause your browser to contact YouTube or any other external host. Clicking through to watch the trailer does take you to YouTube, where their privacy practices apply.

Links to Other Sites

This wiki links out to the official Crimson Moon site, Steam, the PlayStation Store, Xbox, Discord, Reddit and YouTube, and cites sources at the bottom of each guide.

Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's site, subject to their privacy practices, which we neither control nor monitor. Check their policies if that matters to you.

Children

The site is a game reference and is not directed at children under 13. Since no personal information is collected from anyone, none is knowingly collected from children either.

Your Rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to look up, export or delete on request. The theme preference described above is under your own control in your browser.

If you are in a jurisdiction such as the EEA or UK that grants access, correction and erasure rights, those rights still apply — there is simply very little for them to reach here.

Changes to This Policy

This policy will be revised if the site starts using analytics, advertising or any other service that processes visitor data. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
